Meet the Owner

Hi! My name is Dream, and I’m the owner of Dori Dori Cattery! 😊

Our journey began in 2020 when we adopted our first British Shorthair. We instantly fell in love with their adorable looks, affectionate personality, sturdy build, and chubby cheeks. That’s when we knew—we had to have more!

Even though British Shorthairs belong to the same breed, their facial features can vary depending on each breeder's selection and bloodline development. After exploring different catteries abroad and admiring some renowned breeders, we became determined to develop our own ideal British Shorthair & British Longhair bloodline. And that’s how Dori Dori Cattery was born!

The Story Behind the Name

When registering our cattery, we originally wanted to include the word "Dream" in the name. However, the association didn’t allow it, as it was already widely used internationally. 😭

So, we turned to my nickname instead! When I used to work with Japanese people, they pronounced "Dream" in katakana as ドリーム (Dorīmu). Over time, I became known as Dori, which led to the name Dori Dori Cattery. We felt that "Dori Cattery" was too short, so we doubled it for a cuter and more memorable touch!

And that’s the story of Dori Dori Cattery!

Our house

Our cat house is decorated in a minimalist style, simple, airy and comfortable. There is a clear division for cats. The air conditioner is on 24 hours a day and there is a ventilation system. We also place great importance on the cleanliness of the farm. Therefore, all the cats in our house are strong and healthy.
